Please be advised that a Cathay Pacific Airbus has made an emergency landing at the Hong Kong airport this afternoon due to engine failure. Six of its tyres burst when the plane touched down and seven passengers were injured. A Civil Aviation Department spokesman said the request was made after one of the plane's engines shut down.The passengers were evacuated using the plane's emergency chutes.
