Please be informed that security personnel at Helsinki Vantaa airport (HEL) will go on a 24-hour strike from 0600 on 16 April. The strike is likely to cause delays in passenger boarding and moderate flight delays. The airport operator, Finavia Corporation will try to replace missing personnel with employees from other airports.

Swire International Travel Services would like to advise all our clients to confirm all flights from, to or through Helsinki prior to leaving for the airport. Arrive at least three hours early when departing from Helsinki Vantaa between 16 to 17 April.
